AATI - Association on Behalf of the Elderly, located in Santa Cruz do Sul, state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, is looking for international partner, via Rotary Club Santa Cruz do Sul (to which I belong), for a matching grant, in order to purchase furniture and equipments for their Home for the Elderly, called Residencial Bem Viver, so that it can be opened soon, hopefully this year. We still need a lot of resources to purchase external aluminium windows and internal wooden doors for the residential area. The conveniences center, with administration, canteen, library, web room, ward, kitchen and laundry is almost ready (we need to finish the laundry area). We already had a matching grant, with RC Ragusa as partner, to purchase the biggest equipments for the kitchen, sofas and tables and chairs for the canteen.
So, dear fellows in Rotary, could you give us a hand?
Any kind of donation is welcome, but we also need a partner to be the international host club. Local funds are already available, reserved.
We were hoping to receive public funds, but it has represented only a lot of paper work with no result. In other words: waste of time. So better work harder, and make this dream become a reality.
